New Roots In Nature 2024

This past Sunday, New Roots gathered at Carson Beach. Led by our artist and residence Dzidzor, we leaned into an experience of embodied practice alongside questions that helped guide our reflection on this series on Christian nationalism. we were invited to either engage in a 1) slow, meditative walk, 2) lay back and rest, or 3) take a moment to imagine ourselves in a place where we are in conversation with people, we love, but have differences with.

Here are the guiding questions:

Which fruits do you see on display in your life (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness,

and self-control)?

Where are you falling short?

How can you invite God’s transformative power in?

What is your posture of truth?

What is your posture of worship?

What is your posture of praise?

What is your posture within chaos?
